OPTIMAL also supplies individual rear axle bushings for Ford and Volvo models, meaning workshops no longer have to completely repair the longitudinal track control arm in cases of defective bushing.Workshops can now save substantial amounts of time when replacing individual rear axle bushings in Ford Galaxy (WA6), Mondeo IV (BA7) and S-Max (WA6) models as well as Volvo S60 II, S80 II (AS), V70 III (BW), XC60 and XC70 II models. Long time, this task entailed the removal and replacement of the entire rear axle longitudinal track control arm in a time-consuming and expensive process that required a complete replacement set. In contrast, using OPTIMAL’s individual bushings for the left- and right-hand sides of the rear axle simplifies the operation enormously. By allowing separate bushings to be replaced directly on the vehicle, it saves costs, time and materials. Workshops can benefit from this cost-effective solution which is available now.

Benefits at a glance:

  • Significantly lowers the cost of spare parts
  • Bushings in OE-quality
  • Reduces labour time

Tips for carrying out repairs:

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions when removing and fitting bushings. Ideally, before removing the old bushing, its location should be marked out and the new bushing should be properly lined up. Special tools are recommended for removing and fitting the bushings. Finally, once the new bushing is in place, ensure that the correct tightening torques are applied.
